This surgery is a complete farce my family have been ising westcourt for years and they have just got worse. There is a severe lack of care and compassion here the worst i have seen through any industry.If you are thinking about using this surgery please think twice it is not a good place to be cared for and below is some of the reason why it is not every thing that has happened but just a couple of points.They did not diagnose my dad even though he has severe symptoms and that lead to him passing away.Fastforward 20 years and its the same story with my mum who has probably been to the doctors a handful of times over the last 20 years. She went in with pain in her side and back and was sent away with them saying that everyone gets a bad back i had to get shirty with the receptionist to get her seen because of the pain a couple of months later because their appointments are 5 weeks in advance. months later she is in hospital with liver cancer whilst i know she would have had it earlier in the year it may have been a different outcome then. Unfortunatly there is no cure for my mum but it may have been a different story if the doctors were bothered to do anything months earlier.I my self have had issues with getting things done at this surgery and i have had to take out my own healthcare because i have no confidence here anymore subsequently i have left this surgery and moved to a different one.
I have been registeted at westcourt for many years and can't fault the reception staff as i have never yet had any rudeness just really pleasant help and advice. Maybe patients should think of how they are approaching the staff.
Does not even deserve a star but wont let me post with out one. This surgery is shocking and always has been 20 years ago it killed my dad gave him a clean bill of health days later died of a heart attack that could have been prevented if the dr had done his job properly. Now my mother who rarely goes to the drs unless she is really poorly went about pain months ago to be told everyone gets a bad back!!! Now today we have been told my mum has a non curable cancer. So now this drs surgery has single handedly killed both of my parents which if they had done their jobs properly with care insted of arrogance, with love of patients not love of money i wouldnt be sat at the side of my mum knowing whats to come and that i will be an orphan. It takes 30-40 mins to get through on the phone to a receptionist who for hell or high water they will gaurd the drs like we r trying to have an affair with their husband! This surgery needs serious problems delt with and if you love your family remove them....... i will be going further with my complaints i am angry!!!!!!!!!
The surgery is in terrible trouble. If you book online it can take up to 6 weeks! To get an appointment. Even if you set your alarm to wake you up early morning you may have to wait over an hour to get through to a receptionist. Then you are not guaranteed an appointment. One poor woman on reception and a queue out of the door if you go in on foot. What the hell has happened here? GPS leaving all the time! Why?
By far the best surgery around always prompt and helpful! If you have to wait to see a GP it can only mean they are popular!
