I've been having golf lessons with Russell and my handicap has come down by 6 already. He's an extremely professional and patient coach and varies his learning style to suit the needs of the individual. He understands the psychology of golf and teaches in a way that I understand, which is key to learning and improving your golf. He's coached my husband and two of my best friends and we're all big fans. Would highly recommend without reservation.
The lessons Ive had with Russell have enabled me to have a better and more consistent swing, most aspects of which have changed but done bit by bit so you dont have the uncomfortable feeling of changing everything in one go! He also provides drills to use to continue practicing the changes on the range, putting green or course. Russell works with what you have brilliantly and doesnt think we can all swing like Rory, as much as wed all love to. The biggest change for me though is his approach to the mental side of the game and this combined with the swing changes is bearing fruit and Catergory 1 Golf is in sight!!
Russell is always highly professional and knows his golfing onions!Rather than a lesson, its more of a journey with Russell. As well as technique, I have benefited from his focus on the mental side of the game and become a much more complete all round player. Quick fixes dont tend to work in the long term, and I have made steady improvements year on year since we began working together with my limited talent!Would highly recommend Russells services to anyone (of all levels) in the game of golf...
I started having lessons with Russell 5 years ago at the age of 11 and he has taught me to be a competent and confident golfer. Russell is extremely knowledgeable and his method of teaching results in an enjoyable lesson where progress is always being made. He is very engaging and able to communicate at all levels and has a great ability to motivate and inspire me to be the best I can be. Russell is a very nice guy and is easy to build a rapport with, he also wants all of his pupils to do well and shows interest in their games.
To make the most of an upcoming golf holiday, i decided to contact the Rustington golf centre and received a call shortly after from Russell about 8-9 months ago. Since then, and over the course of 7-8 lessons I have seen a massive improvement in my golf via flexible and constructive lessons, tailored to meet the target we set initially at my first lesson. Russell has developed not only the swing aspect of my game, but the mental part also. If I have ever had any questions or uncertainties in between lessons, Russell has taken the time to chat about how its going, or headed onto the driving range to review and ensure I am still on the right track. As well as the above, the lessons have always been fun and enjoyable, in a relaxed environment. From a beginner to someone who is looking to polish different aspects of the game, i couldn't recommend this guy highly enough! looking forward to the next one! :)
